If your car isn’t safe to drive and you need to tow the car before you are able to report the claim to us, we pay the reasonable cost of:
- Towing your car to the nearest repairer or place of safety; and
- Storing your car
We cover the reasonable costs of 1 (one) tow and storage from when you report the claim until we settle the claim. If you authorise the tow on our behalf, you need to provide us with all invoices and receipts.
Please note: When we make a decision to tow or store your car during the inspection, repair or settlement of your claim, we pay for those reasonable costs.
