There may be circumstances surrounding an accident that won't allow you to get details of the other driver or person involved.
It could be something out of your control,, such as the other driver refusing to give you their details... you can only ever do your best given the situation you face.
It won't affect your ability to make a claim but might mean you have to pay your excess regardless of whether you were at fault. We can only waive your excess if you are able to provide us with the full name, address and registration of a driver or person who is at fault.
It's always a good idea to remember, if you can't get their name and address, you can at least try to get their vehicle registration number if applicable. We can help you to follow up.
