We don't have any reports of the KOBA Rider device causing issues with your car's electronics. Mechanics and garages often use devices that plug into a car's OBD-II socket that can do a whole range of different things to your car.
The KOBA Rider has its own battery and only draws data from the car's onboard computer, reading engine codes and mileage readings. It doesn't push any messages back into your car.
Of course, if you're worried about anything in relation to your car's electronics, please let us know and we can help you with some additional research.
