The OBD-II port is a small 12-point plug, often located under or near the steering wheel. Depending on your car's make, this port might be open and exposed, or in some cars, it's behind a simple-to-remove panel. This port exists in all cars manufactured and sold in Australia from 2006 onwards.
Every car will be slightly different, but the plug you’re looking for, the OBD-II port, will be on the driver’s side; either somewhere under the dashboard or near the steering wheel.
See below for the most common areas you may find your OBD-II port located:

We're currently collating an accurate record of where all the OBD-II ports are in different makes and models. We'd love your help in compiling this; please contact us with a quick photo of your port and policy ID. That way we can update our records and share your knowledge with the world! We'd also be eternally grateful.
