As part of your policy with KOBA, you must keep your KOBA Rider plugged in and activated at all times during your policy period.
If for some reason, we're unable to access your KOBA Rider, we will get in touch. If this is the case, we expect you to help us in determining why the Rider isn't currently accessing your car's data and help us to resolve the issue. If not, we may cancel the Policy.
About the KOBA Rider:
- If you notice the KOBA Rider isn't working as it should be, let us know as soon as possible and we'll send you a replacement
- As part of your policy, you must not tamper with the KOBA Rider, or attempt to access the software on it
- If after investigating any issues, KOBA finds that you are responsible for damaging the KOBA Rider, we will charge you a KOBA Rider fee as shown on your Insurance Certificate to replace it.
If your car's data becomes inaccessible during the policy period, you'll still be covered however KOBA will estimate the distance driven at the maximum of 250 km/day; charged at your per-km rate until the Rider is shown to be activated again.
If your KOBA Rider is tampered with, or unplugged, without good reason for a total period of 7 days during your policy period, we may cancel your policy.
